OLIVE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 22, 2024) – It hasn’t been as if it’s a duck taking to water, but early voting in Michigan has apparently gone well thus far.
Through the first four days of the nine-day window in which electors can go to specified locations to cast ballots in the Presidential Preference Primary, the Secretary of State’s office said that over 28,000 took advantage of this option created by passage of Proposal 2 15 months ago.
In Ottawa County, that number stood at 828 through Wednesday, according to Clerk Justin Roebuck.
The early voting period runs through Sunday ahead of the Tuesday election date. Click on the highlighted links for early voting information in Ottawa and Allegan counties.
