HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 11, 2024) – The 95th Tulip Time Festival comes to its nine-day end on Sunday.
Highlighted on Saturday by the Quality Car Wash Volksparade through downtown Holland during the afternoon, and the Tulip Time Fireworks, in partnership with Latin Americans United for Progress, at Kollen Park in the evening, the Mother’s Day attractions have the Tulip Immersion Garden at Beechwood Church, the Historic Walking Tours from Window on the Waterfront Park, and the Carnival off of the Eighth Street Marketplace. The VIP Tours from Beechwood Church for Sunday is sold out, as has all of the others such tours that were held throughout the festival.
Although a majority of the tulips planted throughout Holland blossomed about a week and a half early, there were still many flowers for visitors and locals to enjoy as the festival wound down. Festival officials are expected to announce attendance and revenue figures later this summer.
