HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 21, 2024) – The high school graduation season along the Lakeshore began on Tuesday night.
While Holland Christian’s 12th graders received their diplomas at Central Wesleyan Auditorium, Holland High’s seniors received their proverbial sheepskins under the watchful eye of district superintendent Nick Cassidy at DeVos Fieldhouse.
Zeeland’s two high schools will hold separate ceremonies at DeVos; on Wednesday evening for the East Chix, and Thursday evening for the West Dux. Also on Thursday evening, outdoor ceremonies are planned, weather permitting, for West Ottawa and Saugatuck at Panther Stadium and Jarvis Memorial Field, respectively, while Hamilton and Fennville have indoor celebrations set for their seniors at their high schools.
Black River Public School wraps up the season next Thursday, May 30, at the Jack Miller Center for the Performing Arts on the Hope College campus.
