PORT SHELDON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 20, 2024) – A 60-year-old Muskegon man remains in the Ottawa County Jail on charges stemming from groping a woman following a collision on US-31 between Holland and Grand Haven earlier this month.
Greg Joseph DuJardine could not post $500,000 bond after a Friday arraignment before 58th District Court Judge Bradley Knoll. DuJardine was arrested shortly after the September 8th incident in which an unnamed 24-year-old Grand Haven woman claimed that he had “touched her inappropriately” during a physical assault at a fueling station parking lot off of US-31 and Stanton Street. This came after DuJardine’s SUV had struck the woman’s Jeep near US-31 and Lake Michigan Drive (M-45), with the suspect’s vehicle following the Jeep until they had stopped at the fueling station.
Detectives were able to track DuJardine to his home the next day, and he was initially jailed on a parole violation stemming from a 1988 criminal sexual conduct conviction in Ottawa County. He now faces new charges of second degree criminal sexual conduct causing injury, and being a four-time habitual offender.
The case remains open, and anyone with any further information is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department or Ottawa County Silent Observer (877-887-4536).
