BLENDON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 22, 2025) – A two-vehicle crash east of Zeeland on Friday night injured a 21-year-old Holland woman.
No names were disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Tyler VanDoeselaar as first responders were dispatched to the intersection of 72nd Avenue and Tyler Street around 8:20 PM. That was where a white sedan, heading eastbound, drove through a stop sign and into a northbound SUV.
The injured woman was a front-seat passenger in the sedan, and after rescuers were able to extricate her from the vehicle, was taken to an “area hospital” for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. All of the other persons involved were not hurt, which included a 20-year-old Zeeland woman driving the at-fault vehicle, a one-year-old baby girl in the back seat, and a Hudsonville couple in their mid-30’s with five children, ranging in ages from nine to two, all inside the SUV.
The crash remains under investigation, and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
