HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Dec. 2, 2025) – The deadline is approaching for those wishing to nominate individuals, institutions or groups making a difference in the Holland community.
The city’s Human Relations Commission is accepting such intentions for the annual Social Justice Awards, which spotlights efforts in promoting opportunity and access in the areas of housing, education, employment, government, community relations, health services, and accessibility. City Manager Keith Van Beek says that, since 1998, there have been 121 recipients of Holland’s Social Justice Awards.
The deadline to submit nominations for Holland’s Social Justice Awards is this coming Friday, December 5th, with winners honored at City Hall during the January 21st City Council meeting. An online link for submissions is here.
