HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Dec. 10, 2025) – A look into Holland’s financial future is before City Council members on Wednesday night.
During the 6 PM biweekly study session, members of the governing panel will huddle with city staffers to review the city’s long-term financial forecast. This comes a week after the annual comprehensive financial report for Fiscal 2025 was presented to council, which showed an increase in the total net position of the city, general fund and budget stabilization fund balance improvements, and bonds are getting paid off.
That fact delighted Mayor Nathan Bocks, who has seen other entities, of which he is an officer with, struggle with achieving this.
The Holland City Council’s work-study session, in the second-floor training room of Holland City Hall (270 S. River Ave.), is open to the public.
