GRAND HAVEN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 28, 2026) – A 41-year-old Grand Haven man was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash south of the Ottawa County seat during the overnight hours of Saturday.
No name was disclosed by Sheriff’s Sergeant Kyle Zwak following the incident, which occurred around 2:15 AM off of Lincoln Street near Lakeshore Drive. The single motorist had been driving westbound and went through a stop sign before striking a tree. Zwak said that the man was pinned in and in “an altered level of consciousness” when rescue workers extricated him and took him to an unnamed “area hospital” for treatment.
