NOVI, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Mar. 30, 2026) – Roger Victory will get another chance to win election for a seat in Lansing.
However, the term-limited state Senate Minority Whip is vying for a spot on the Michigan State University Board of Trustees, after he and Julie Maday secured unopposed acclimation from over 21 hundred credentialed delegates at Saturday’s state Republican Party endorsement convention in suburban Detroit.
Victory is a commercial produce farmer from Hudsonville.
Other candidates who will carry the GOP banner on the November 3rd General Election ballot include Eaton County Prosecutor Doug Lloyd for Attorney General, Macomb County Clerk Anthony Forlini for Secretary of State, Michael Warren and Cassandra Morse-Bills for state Supreme Court, Terence Collins and Bree Moeggenberg for the state Board of Education, Michael Schostak and Lena Epstein for the University of Michigan Board of Regents, and Christa Murphy and Andy Anuzis for Wayne State University Board of Governors.
State Democrats are slated to hold a similar endorsement convention in Detroit next month. Voters will decide the party nominees for Governor, US Senator, and US House seats in the August 4th Primary Election.
