HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Apr. 17, 2026) – A grand opening of yet another resale store along the Lakeshore is set for Friday.
Officials of Community Action House will formally unveil its new Northside Resale Store with a ceremony, games and prizes, and more. Located off of Riley Street near Butternut Drive, it is double the size of the Action House’s long-time establishment on Michigan Avenue, which will be closed through June for renovations while the new outlet is in operation.
There are now resale stores benefiting the Action House, Gateway Mission, the Salvation Army, Goodwill Industries, Harbor Humane, and other non-profits in the Holland/Zeeland area, let alone Revive, Love Inc. and Mel Trotter Ministries in Hudsonville. Concerns of over-saturation of the market are not that great, according to James Smead, Director of Resale Operations for the Action House.
The new Community Action House Northside Resale Store will be open six days a week, with Sunday being an off-day.
