UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 17, 2026) – In major league baseball yesterday: Munetaka Murakami’s two-run homer in the seventh inning snapped a 4-4 tie, and powered the White Sox past the Tigers at Comerica Park, 7-5, while Alec Burleson and Jordan Walker each had a homer with four RBI, as the visiting St. Louis Cardinals clobbered the Cubs, 11-4. Tonight, while the Cubs host the White Sox at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Detroit plays the Pirates in Pittsburgh, with coverage from Dan Dickerson at 6:40 PM on WHTC Holland’s Cool FM.
