PORT SHELDON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 3, 2026) – Two women were injured in a two-vehicle crash between Holland and Grand Haven on Thursday morning.
First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Port Sheldon Street and 152nd Avenue around 8:35 AM. That was where a northbound sedan failed to yield the right of way to a eastbound vehicle, causing a collision. The apparent at-fault motorist, a 45-year-old woman from Wyoming, had to be extricated from her vehicle by rescuers and was taken to an undisclosed “local hospital” with serious injuries, while the other driver, a 39-year-old Holland woman, suffered bumps and bruises that only needed treatment at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
