LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 5, 2026) – The executive director of Holland-based Disability Network Lakeshore will continue to serve on a statewide panel aimed at supporting those with intellectual and developmental challenges, along with their families.
Amanda Rhines-Poehlman was reappointed by Governor Whitmer on Thursday to another four-year term on the Michigan Developmental Disability Council. This group helps channel federal funds to support programmatic activities and grants for improving systems and services aimed at helping those affilicted live self-determined and self-directed lives.
This appointment is not subject to advice and consent of the Senate.
