HOLLAND (WHCT-AM/FM) — An 81-year-old man suffered minor injuries in a Holland Township crash just before 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2021, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brad Bennett.
A 45-year-old male, driving a Subaru east on Riley Street failed to yield in the intersection, according to police, and an 81-year-old Holland man driving a Chevrolet SUV south on Butternut Drive hit the Subaru.
The Chevrolet SUV slammed into a power pole, breaking that, according to Bennett. Police temporarily closed the intersection so emergency crews could repair the downed power lines. The crash remains under investigation.
