HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 13, 2022) – An organization aimed at addressing the scourge of domestic and sexual violence along the Lakeshore has a five-week-long series of webinars upcoming.
Beginning next Wednesday (Sept. 20), Resilience: Advocates for Ending Violence will sponsor four workshops looking at topics such as healing after being victimized, the ongoing fight for equality in athletics, breaking free from controlling tactics in intimate partner relationships, and how neighbors and friends can help those who have been victimized. Lesley Coghill is with the group formerly known as the Center for Women in Transition.
The impact of domestic and sexual violence has increased in the two and a half years since the national outbreak of COVID 19.
