HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 4, 2024) – The 95th renewal of Holland’s annual signature event officially begins on Saturday, even though some activities took place the past two days.
At 8 AM, while the still of the morning will be felt at Beechwood Church, where the Tulip Immersion Garden will be held, the Tulip Time Festival kicks off with the Tulip Time Run at Kollen Park. Other daytime activities include the Tulip City Open Pickleball Tournament at the MVP Athletic Club; historic walking tours at Window on the Waterfront; Tall Ship Dockside Tours at Boatwerks East Dock; Art in Bloem Fine Art Exhibit at the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place; the Tulip Time Quilt Show in the Midtown Center; the Artisan Market on the Ottawa County Fairgrounds; the Carnival off of the Eighth Street Marketplace; and Dutch Dance Lessons at Centennial Park.
Already sold out is the VIP Tour and the evening Dancing Queen an ABBA Salute concert at the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place. Other evening events include the presentation of On Golden Pond at the Holland Community Theatre, and Dutch Dancing in Centennial Park.
