Trish’s children (3) and grandchildren (10) were the light of her life. Every breath she took revolved around loving them in every capacity she had. But it wasn’t just her family that she devoted her life to. Her nieces and nephews and truly any child who entered her orbit felt the full strength of love she radiated.
She collected “chosen family” through her walk of life and gave pieces of herself to everyone she met. This made her the perfect volunteer at Love For A Child, a children’s camp designed to give foster children a week long experience where they feel like royalty and are treasured with the focus on just being a kid and loved on to the fullest capacity.
Her favorite song was, “Amazing Grace” and she lived the message of that song to the fullest extent, from having an abundant supply of forgiveness and grace at her disposal to living directly inside each moment savoring each person fully and making them feel seen. Her presence was a powerful force and a constant source of comfort and guidance.
Trish’s heart was cemented as a baker, and she most often loved others with the gift of treats and fellowship. She worked at multiple bakeries and catering services throughout her life. She poured her love into the cake batter that she would craft for precious moments that would be remembered forever. Weddings, birthdays, and celebrations of all kinds. It filled her up to see the joy someone would feel as they enjoyed her delicious cakes. She volunteered at Kids on the Rock, teaching children how to make and decorate cakes with the patience of a saint.
Her sudden passing was not an end, but a tender reminder of the beauty she embodied just like her unending and unwavering love. Her legacy will not be extinguished but will burn bright through the countless hearts she’s made an impact on. In Trish’s final moments, she remained a beacon of love and serenity.
