LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 19, 2024) – The Lakeshore will continue to be represented on the Michigan Municipal League Board of Trustees.
At last week’s annual business meeting on Mackinac Island, Zeeland Mayor Kevin Klynstra was tabbed by members in attendance to the governing panel of the organization that has programs, resources and services aimed at improving the state’s communities, along with advocacy efforts in Lansing, Washington and in the judicial system. Klynstra, who has served as Zeeland’s elected leader since 2011 and has been on city council there for nearly 30 years, returns to the MML board where he had served for six years previously.
“The League has always been very helpful for the city of Zeeland, and I’m happy to help continue that for all the cities across the state.” – Kevin Klynstra
While he comes back to the panel, Holland City Manager Keith Van Beek ended his term on the board.
