Joel W. Wilson, age 75, of Hamilton, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025.
Joel was born in Douglas, Michigan to the late Garth and Ruth Wilson. Joel was a graduate of Saugatuck High School. He went on to earn his Journeyman License and worked at Micro-Mechanic Textron for 28 years. Joel honorably served his country in the United States Army. He earned a National Defense Service Medal, as well as, an expert and sharpshooter badge. He enjoyed spending time with his two good buddies, Larry (fishing partner) and Mike (mechanic friend). Every week Joel would tinker on many projects with his brother David. He was a great friend, loving father and will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially by his daughter (Tasha Wilson) and grandchildren (Ella Guajardo and Ariis Guajardo).
Private interment will be in Saugatuck Riverside Cemetery. The United States Army Honor Guard will bestow military honors.
