GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Nov. 5, 2025) – A 78-year-old Hudsonville woman was seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash east of her hometown on Tuesday evening.
No names were disclosed by Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Michael Tamminga as first responders were dispatched to the intersection of Port Sheldon Street and 18th Avenue around 5:30 PM. That was where a westbound pickup truck, driven by a 21-year-old Hamilton man, apparently drove through a red traffic light and was hit by a southbound sedan, attempting to go through on a green light. The woman was taken to a “local hospital” for treatment, while the man was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation.
