Roberto “Bob” Rodriguez Jr., a resident of Holland, Michigan, passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 64. Born on July 1, 1961, Roberto, affectionately known as Bob, will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and his love for the finer things in life.
Bob graduated high school in 1982 and soon after moved to Saugatuck for work. In 2003, his adventurous nature led him to Greece, where he spent seven years before returning to Michigan. He was known for his independence and his passion for collecting coins, art, books, and other antiques. Bob’s sweet and caring nature was evident in the way he gave gifts to those around him as a gesture of love. His colleagues fondly remember him as a jokester.
Bob’s love for his family was profound, especially for his nieces and nephews, whom he was always eager to help. He is survived by his father, Robert (Leola) Rodriguez, his brother, Richard (Olga) Rodriguez, and his sister, Priscilla (Jerry) Prys. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Jager (Micayla) Prys, Hannah Prys, Sierra (Seth) Schut, Marc Soliz, Armondo Soliz, and Monica Soliz. Bob was preceded in death by his mother Otilia Rodriguez.
A memorial visitation will be held at Lakeshore Memorial Services, located at 11939 James Street, Holland, Michigan, 49424, on February 23, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will take place on February 24, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at lakeshore memorial, followed by a committal service from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Bob will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
