HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 7, 2026) – Thursday is day seven of the 97th Tulip Time Festival, Holland’s annual signature event.
Among the spotlighted events: A dawn Photo Walk ahead of the Tulip Immersion Garden at Beechwood Church; Holland Highlights and Tulip Time VIP Tours, also beginning at Beechwood Church; Dutch Life on Display at the Van Raalte Farmhouse; a Historic Walking Tour beginning at Window on the Waterfront; the Art in Bloem Fine Art Exhibit at the Holland Area Arts Council building; the Quilt Show at the Midtown Center; a Dutch Lunch and Dance Performance at Evergreen Commons; Dutch Dancing along 8th Street; the Carnival outside of the Heeringa Holland Civic Center Place; “Suite Surrender” performed at the Holland Community Theatre; and a Texas Tenors concert at Central Wesleyan Church.
Highlighting the activities is the Gentex Kinderparade, with coverage beginning at 1:30 PM on WHTC Holland’s Cool FM. Several thousand people will throng along 8th Street from Columbia Avenue to Kollen Park, and keeping them safe is the responsibility of several law enforcement entities, headed by the Holland Department of Public Safety.
