HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Feb. 8, 2026) – Sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 50’s are predicted for Holland as Hope College honors its largest-ever graduating classes on Sunday.
Following two separate baccalaureate worship services at Dimnent Chapel in the morning, a 3 PM commencement ceremony at Ray & Sue Smith Stadium, open to the public if weather conditions are favorable, will see 815 members from the Class of 2026 receiving their symbolic sheepskins.
While Chapel Dean Dr. Nathan Hart delivers the baccalaureate message, Head Football Coach Peter Stuursma will present the commencement address.
The graduates will also name its Hope Outstanding Professor Educator award winner. The proceedings will also be live streamed on Hope College’s YouTube Channel.
