ROBINSON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, May 28, 2026) – A 29-year-old Muskegon woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash involving her sports car and a semi along M-45 on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Shane Ryke, the unnamed and unbuckled motorist was northbound on 120th Avenue just before 1 PM when she apparently drove through a red light at Lake Michigan Drive and into the path of a westbound truck hauling double dump trailers. She was flown by Aeromed to Corewell-Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids for treatment, while the trucker, a 54-year-old Holland man, was not hurt.
The junction west of Allendale was blocked off for more than two hours before traffic was allowed to resume flowing normally, as the crash remains under investigation.
