HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jun. 5, 2026) – Another new attraction for Holland is coming.
On Friday afternoon, city officials will join with Velo Kids for a ceremonial ground breaking of a Holland Bike Park on the northern base of the Unity Bridge, which allows River Avenue to span the Macatawa River. This multi-phase project, at a cost of up to $1.44 million, will provide an outdoor recreation space for riders of all ages and abilities.
City Manager Keith Van Beek says that this will fit in with many of the features, already in place, which makes the Holland area a hotbed for cycling enthusiasts.
This first phase of a 600-foot pump track is expected to be ready by the end of the summer.
