OLIVE TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 3, 2026) – On the eve of Tuesday’s statewide Primary Election comes a virtual town hall by the Ottawa County Clerk’s Office on Monday afternoon.
From 12 Noon to 1 PM, Clerk Justin Roebuck, along with Elections Supervisor Katie Bard, will update viewers on preparations for Election Day, including an overview of voter participation and operations during the just-completed nine-day early voting period, which ended on Sunday. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions directly during the session, including clearing up misconceptions over the integrity of elections in this state, a matter brought up last month by President Trump in an address to the nation, and something that Roebuck is fiercely defending.
Advance registration for the ZOOM briefing is required, and a recording of the session should be made available through the Ottawa County YouTube Channel shortly afterward.
