SAUGATUCK, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 28, 2026) – The look of a Lakeshore community could be changing soon.
During this past Monday evening’s business meeting, the Saugatuck City Council approved a recommended brand direction and logo, as presented during the August 19th council workshop by retained consultant Concept A Creative Studio. This would include new signage, as well as a website overhaul.
Such a refreshing of the municipal image was long overdue, according to Councilwoman Lauren Stanton, who was a member of a Branding Advisory Committee that has involved in the matter since being formed last December.
The Saugatuck City Council business session was in the second floor meeting room of Saugatuck City Hall (102 Butler St.). An online link to the agenda and supporting documents is here.
