Community Action House Involved in National Hunger Action Month

HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 13, 2026) – September is Hunger Action Month.

Established by the national non-profit Feeding America, it’s an effort to raise awareness of food insecurity and increase involvement in programs to address this issue. Locally, the Community Action House’s Food Club has been involved since it opened five years ago, according to the Action House’s Director of Food Access Programs Chara Bouma-Prediger.
