ZEELAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 1, 2026) – Zeeland’s annual fall spotlight event kicks off on Thursday evening.
Pumpkinfest begins at 5 PM at the corner of Main and Church with “Dinner on Us,” as the first thousand attendees receive a free meal, courtesy of Zeeland Festivals, Frank’s Restaurant, and Tyson Foods. The Avenue of Art Walk is also set for that time in front of Tripelroot, with contributing artists on hand to chat with visitors about their pieces of work.
Friday activities include Kidzfest, along with free donuts and cider, and the “Pumpkinfest Gone Country” parade highlights Saturday’s slate.
Interim City Manager Kevin Plockmeyer admits that it may be a little tougher to get around downtown Zeeland right now, but it will be worth it in both the short and long term.
