GEORGETOWN TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Oct. 8, 2026) – The search is over for a 75-year-old Jenison area woman who is considered endangered.
Family members and friends had not seen Mary Cecilia Roe since she left her home on Tuesday afternoon, driving a gray 2014 Chevrolet Sonic (Michigan plate 24ABC7). She was wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and sunglasses, and deputies say she was spotted in the area of Wilson Avenue and M-6 around 1:45 PM. The concern stems from her condition of having dementia.
On Thursday morning, Roe was spotted by members of the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office, and after being evaluated by medical staff, she was expected to be returned to her family. No details as to the circumstances which led to her recovery were disclosed.
