By the end of July, Windmill Island Garden's display of annuals and perennials are looking amazing! We invite you to check out the Island during Peak Bloom Week to see a spectacular show of color. Our horticulture staff has been busy planting over 5,000 annuals in 80+ varieties throughout 40 beds and 70 containers. In addition, over 300 perennials were added this year alone!

The Mission of the Ottawa County Fair is to bring youth, young families, and adults of all ages together for agricultural education, affordable family fun, and recreation within a safe and friendly environment.  There is a grandstand event every evening.  Fair closes at 11pm every evening.

Tulip City Tipoff is a summer basketball showcase event that consists of some of the best alumni basketball talent in the City of Holland. There will be two alumni games that will be played, women's and men's. These alumni games will include players from Holland High and West Ottawa. In addition, a Pro-Am exhibition game will take place first tipping off before the alumni games at 3pm. The Pro-Am game will include 2 teams. Tulip City team will be a home grown roster that will represent the City of Holland and the other team will include pros and AM players from outside of the area that are well known, they will represent Tulip City Red. This annual fine arts and crafts fair is always the first Saturday of August in Holland, MI.  The event draws one of the largest influxes of visitors to the city on a single day.
