HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Jul. 9, 2026) – The value of owning one’s home has been reinforced by data from a new national study.
Last week, research from Washington University in St. Louis for Habitat for Humanity International indicated that the non-profit’s efforts in creating home ownership for low-income residents has led to various benefits, including lasting financial stability, improved wealth building, and stronger overall communities.
Dave Rozman, Executive Director with Lakeshore Habitat for Humanity, wasn’t surprised by the results coming from canvassing more than 2,000 homeowners served by 43 Habitat affiliates across the country.
Late last month, Lakeshore Habitat, along with Jubilee Ministries, celebrated the grand opening of its 42-unit Vista Green development off of West 36th Street.
