PARK TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 31, 2026) – One person was hospitalized following a Friday afternoon house fire on Holland’s North Side.
When crews arrived at the blaze, which was at a residence on Crosswind Drive, off of Ottawa Beach Road between 152nd and 160th avenues, flames were seen coming through the roof. It took some time to bring the fire under control, with one resident taken to Holland Hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Assisting crews also brought along cyanokits, which is used to address any cyanide poisoning situation involving residents or first responders. State police fire investigators were also called out to assist in seeking the cause of the blaze.
No dollar estimate of damage caused in the incident was immediately determined.
