HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Aug. 31, 2026) – Classes in the 165th Academic Year at Hope College get underway on Monday.
Over 850 freshmen were asked to come to the Jack Miller Center for Musical Arts on Sunday afternoon for the Fall Commencement. They were formally welcomed to the Holland campus by school President Matthew Scogin.
Meanwhile, in Allendale, new Grand Valley State students were invited to a Friday night Laker Kickoff at Luebbers Stadium, along with a Sunday evening Campus Life Night. They, too, will begin classes on Monday.
